Espadrilles // 1 Day // June 1

This has to be one of the most exciting workshops we've ever offered! Making our own shoes always seemed like the ultimate in DIY #goals, but too daunting to take on without a cobbler's bench, fancy tools and a serious pep talk. Then we started experimenting with espadrilles....we never imagined shoe-making could be this fun and this easy. Now we can't look at any scrap of fabric without dreaming up our next pair of playful summer slip-ons!

Learn to MAKE.YOUR.OWN.SHOES. We promise this will be the most impressive sewing project your friends have seen! You supply the fabric, we supply the soles, pattern and other specialty supplies you'll need along with expert instruction to help you avoid the most common pitfalls for new shoe-makers.  We expect this class to sell out fast, so sign up while you still can!

Please note: We have only been able to source espadrille soles in US women's sizes 6-9.5. If you are outside of this size range, please email us before registering so we can discuss options with you.

Skill Level: There is minimal machine sewing involved with espadrilles. Thus, the only requirement for this workshop is that you be able to thread a machine and do basic stitching. If you would like to attend this workshop but do not know how to use a sewing machine, a teacher can do the machine sewing for you, but will not have time to teach you how to use a machine on your own.
