Oslo Coat // 2 Days // Feb 22 & 23
Sure, we may not live in Norway, but when the sun sets at 4:30pm and the sidewalks are covered in ice, we Philly folks also deserve to treat our cold souls to some handmade coziness this winter. Join us for a weekend workshop making the Oslo Coat, a classic lined coat with shawl collar, raglan sleeves, front button closure and in-seam pockets. You can also choose the Jill Coat, an unlined coat with drop shoulders, shawl collar, patch pockets and a back vent.
- Working with wool fabric
- Sewing sleeves
- In-seam or patch pockets
- Facings & lapel/shawl collar
- Bagging a lining
- Buttonholes and button
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced. You have made garments before and feel comfortable working with a pattern, choosing a size and cutting fabric on your own.
Pattern and materials not provided. You will receive a supply list with instructions ahead of time.
Due to the condensed nature of this weekend workshop, you will be responsible for cutting your fabric ahead of time. If you have sizing questions in the meantime, please reach out to us before cutting.
2 Days; 12 workshop hours
Please refer to our class policies before registering for a course. We have two studio locations, so take note of the address to make sure you show up at the correct one!
