Quilting // 6 Weeks // Starts July 9
Join us for a brand new quilting class this summer and make a beautiful modern quilt based off of improv techniques. Simple lines in this pattern and bold colors create a striking quilt. The "Day's End" quilt by Smith's General will have you dreaming of summer sunsets long after summer is over!
Class project: Day’s End Quilt by Smith’s General. Students will make the throw size blanket.
Skills learned:
- Piecing and color work
- Quilting techniques
- Binding
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate. You MUST already be comfortable threading and operating a sewing machine as well as sewing straight lines. You can take this class if you have taken Sewing 101 or have similar experience.
Please note that while we try to make it possible for you to sew a whole quilt in six sessions, some homework may help you to stay on track. Having access to a sewing machine at home will help speed your progress, but is not required.
Materials not provided. You will immediately receive the supply list upon purchase of this class. The pattern is a PDF and will need to be purchased from the designer before class.
6 Weeks; 18 hours
