Sewing 301: Jumpsuits, Overalls & Button Ups // 5 Weeks // Starts June 2
Hey super stitchers, get ready for an action-packed sewing jamboree! This is our Advanced Projects class focusing on jumpsuits, overalls and button up shirts. You'll choose from an array of patterns and complete an impressive and functional piece.
Pattern Options (you are also welcome to run a pattern of your choice by us):
Jenny Overalls by Closet Core (Women's sizes 0-20)
Blanca Flight Suit by Closet Core (Women's sizes 0-30)
Rory Jumpsuit by True Bias (Women's sizes 0-18)
Durban Jumpsuit by Megan Nielsen (Women's sizes 0-34)
Zadie Jumpsuit by Paper Theory (Women's sizes 6-28)
Mirra Jumpsuit by Papercut (Women's sizes 0-6)
The Harlene Overalls by Merchant & Mills (Women's sizes 2-24)
Sierra Jumpsuit by Papercut (Women's sizes 0-6)
Colibri Overalls (Unisex sizes XXS-XXL)
Burnside Bibs by Sew House Seven (Sizes 00-34)
Skills learned vary by pattern but may include:
- Inserting zippers, snaps & other hardware
- Buttonholes & plackets
- Patch, inseam, hidden and flap pockets
- Setting in two-piece sleeves
- Straps, collars & cuffs
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced. Students must have taken Sewing 201 or have similar experience (made at least one garment and feel comfortable cutting fabric on their own).
5 Weeks; 15 total course hours
Section 1: 5 Sundays 5-8pm on June 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30
