our students say...

  • "This is not just a class, it is a community! The instructors are very supportive. They spent extra time with me to adjust the pattern of my bag so that I would have a finished product I loved. They are also total pros. The things they taught I would never have learned from a manual or YouTube video."
    - Meghan W., Philadelphia
  • "Thank you for a great 101 class! I can't believe four weeks ago I didn't even know how to use a sewing machine but had dreamed about using one for my entire life. You took the intimidation out and made class fun and accessible."
    - Daniella, Philadelphia
  • I took the Sewing 101 class based solely on reviews I read, and it was amazing! I can't say enough great things about the class, studio and my instructor. The class is designed to be extremely user friendly and the studio itself is beautiful with creativity all over the place! Projects from other classes are displayed so you can see other items and get excited about all the other things you can learn to make!
    - Stephanie C., Philadelphia
  • "I am a very avid sewer. Over the summer I took the shorts making class and most recently the pattern making class. Instructors easily accommodate and challenge everyone in the class. It was great to connect to other sewing folk, too."
    - Heather M., Philadelphia
  • "I love this place!! I drive from Harrisburg for classes because I enjoy it so much! Great teaching, stylish and accessible patterns, and an all around inspiring atmosphere! Both locations have a great aesthetic too. Nice work!"
    - Danielle C., Harrisburg PA
