Quilting // 6 Weeks // Starts January 7th
Join us for a brand-new quilting class this winter and make a beautiful modern quilt! The rectangular piecing and simple lines of the Fishing Net Quilt by Suzy Quilts offer endless opportunities for self-expression through your fabric choices. Despite its name, this quilt is perfect for curling up and getting cozy!
Class project: Fishing Net Quilt by Suzy Quilts. Students can choose to make either the baby or throw size blankets.
Skills learned:
- Piecing and working with color
- Quilting techniques
- Binding
Sewing Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate. You MUST already be comfortable threading and operating a sewing machine as well as sewing straight lines. This class is a good fit if you’ve taken Sewing 101 or have similar experience.
While we’ll work toward completing your quilt over the six sessions, some homework may help you stay on track. Having access to a sewing machine at home can help speed your progress, but it is not required.
Materials not provided. You will receive a supply list that will be automatically emailed upon purchase of this course. The pattern is a PDF and will need to be purchased from the designer before class.
