Clava Quilt // 6 Weeks // Starts May 4
Join us for the next exciting "phase" of our quilting class this spring and make this fun, modern quilt. Clava is a newly-released unique quilt pattern representing the different phases of the moon.
- Curved piecing and colorwork
- Quilting techniques
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate. You MUST already be comfortable threading and operating a sewing machine as well as sewing straight lines. There is a lot of curved piecing in this pattern, so this class is best if you've already taken Beginner Quilting or a beginner garment making class such as Sewing 201 or Knits.
Please note that while this class tries to make it doable to sew a whole quilt in six sessions, some homework may help you to stay on track. Having access to a sewing machine at home will help speed your progress, but is not required.
Materials not provided. An instructor will reach out you with a supply list in advance. The pattern is a PDF and will need to be purchased from the designer before class.
6 Weeks; 18 workshop hours
