Collaging with Fabric // 1 Day // Nov 13

Turn fabric into art in this playful introduction to fabric collaging! In this beginner-friendly workshop, guest instructor Sharon Hillman of Funhouse Studio will teach you how to cut, arrange, and layer fabric to create your own unique composition.

Sharon will guide you step by step through the collage process—from pairing solids and patterns to building a color palette and cutting out shapes to arranging your design and adhering it to mixed media paper with Mod Podge. Explore an abstract composition or create a picture inspired by a favorite place, object, or idea. 

You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind fabric collage, along with the skills and inspiration to keep experimenting with fabric, color, and composition at home.

Materials Needed: All supplies, tools, and materials are included—just bring your creativity!

No sewing or collage experience needed!
