Adult-Child Workshop @ Evil Genius // 2-Hr // July 11th
Spend a creative afternoon stitching together at our next pop-up workshop with our friends at Evil Genius Brewery! Join us in their semi-private event space for an afternoon of hand sewing, snacks, drinks, and quality time as you create your own whimsical felt badges.
Perfect for beginners, this workshop is designed for adults and children to learn simple hand sewing techniques while making one-of-a-kind felt badge pins. Create flowers, moons, frogs, hearts, stars, or dream up your own design! Once complete, your handmade badge can be pinned to backpacks, jackets, tote bags, hats, sneakers, and more.
No sewing experience is necessary. We'll guide you through every step, including basic hand stitches, appliqué techniques, and decorative embroidery stitches.
Come stitch, sip, and make something special together! Whether you're creating matching badges or each designing your own unique piece, you'll leave with new skills and handmade keepsakes to treasure.
In this workshop you'll learn:
- Basic hand sewing stitches
- Simple appliqué techniques
- Decorative whipstitch edging
- Tips for designing and embellishing your own felt creations
All materials are included.
Recommended child age: 5+
Adults must be 21+
$45 — One adult + one child
