Sewing 301: Winter Outerwear // 5 Weeks // Starts Feb 1

Sew Your Own Winter Statement Piece!

Action-packed outerwear class for Returning Stitchers

Bundle up, fashion makers — it’s time to conquer the ULTIMATE sewing glow-up: a fully handmade winter coat! In this high-skill, high-fun workshop, you’ll choose one fabulous pattern and stitch your way to a stunning, warm outerwear piece that turns sidewalks into runways.

Wooly chic? Yes. Lining that looks as good as the outside? Absolutely. Snaps, buttons, pockets for snacks? You bet.

Go classic with minimalist neutrals or go bold with prints no one will see coming. And the best part? Every time someone compliments your look, you get to say: “Thanks! I made it.”

Choose Your Cozy Adventure:

-The Sanda Coat by Merchant & Mills (Women's sizes 6-28) - a minimalist coat with a rolled collar and turn back cuffs. Can be made lined or unlined.

-Phoebe Coat by Closet Core Patterns (women's sizes XXS-4X) - a modern, double-breasted coat with a cocoon shape. Designed to fit oversized so you can throw it over bulky winter layers. Comes with two length options, below-knee or mid-thigh.

-Grant Coat by Daughter Judy Patterns (women's sizes XS-5X) - a fully lined shawl style robe coat with raglan sleeves. Choose between front closures or belted wrap style coat.

-Heavy Shirt by Wardrobe by Me (Unisex sizes 2XS-4XL) - An unlined, classic shacket featuring a loose relaxed fit with button placket, traditional collar, sleeve cuffs, and chest pocket.

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced. Students must have taken Sewing 201 or have similar experience (made at least one garment and feel comfortable cutting fabric on their own).
