Sewing Machine Basics // 1.5 Hours // Click for Dates
When in doubt, start at the very beginning. This course is designed to give novice stitchers a basic foundation to using a sewing machine. Students will leave with the understanding of how a machine works, the ability to thread a machine, and the confidence to continue on their sewing journey.

Skills learned:
- Machine threading and operation: sewing straight lines, pivoting, backstitching, changing machine settings, troubleshooting
Skill Level: Novice. No experience needed. We provide machines although you are welcome to bring your own.
Materials are included. You do not need to bring anything to class.
