Mother's Day Embroidery Workshop // 1-Day // May 10

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a creative afternoon in the studio. Whether you’re bringing your mom, daughter, partner, best friend, or another special person in your life, this workshop is all about slowing down and making something meaningful together.

Embroidery is one of our favorite crafts for its calming, meditative rhythm and the beautiful details it adds to clothing, accessories, and home décor. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn a collection of foundational embroidery stitches while creating a charming stitched sampler to take home and display.

During class, students will learn and practice the following stitches:

• Running Backstitch
• Stem Stitch
• French Knots
• Satin Stitch
• Detached Chain Stitch
• Wagon Wheel (also called Exploding Star)

You’ll stitch each technique onto a thoughtfully designed sampler that can later be framed or hung as a decorative keepsake—something that will always remind you of the time spent creating together.

Every participant receives a complete embroidery kit including:

• Wooden embroidery hoop
• 8 skeins of embroidery floss
• Embroidery needle
• 8 embroidery bobbins
• Fabric
• Sampler design transfer

Skill Level: Beginner friendly — no experience required.

Age Requirement: Suitable for students ages 12 and up.
