Sweaters & Turtlenecks // 2 Weeks // Starts Dec 15
It’s finally sweater weather! Add a cozy, handmade layer to your fall wardrobe in this six-hour garment-sewing workshop. Choose from four patterns to create anything from a sleek, fitted turtleneck to a relaxed funnel-neck or shawl-collar sweater.
Whether you want an easy layering piece, an oversized sweater to wear with jeans, or a classic menswear-inspired style, there’s an option for you.
Workshop pattern options:
Rise/Fall Turtleneck by Papercut Patterns. Choose the fitted Rise turtleneck or the relaxed Fall version, featuring dropped shoulders and a looser fit. Both make versatile layering pieces that look great under dresses and jumpsuits. Sizes 1–8 (US sizes 2-16).
Elliott Sweater by Helen's Closet: Create a relaxed turtleneck or funnel-neck sweater, depending on your fabric choice. Choose from three lengths and multiple sleeve options. Please note that we will not be making the high-low hem variation. Sizes 0–30.
Jarrah Sweater (view D) by Megan Nielsen. We’ll make View D, featuring a loose fit, dropped shoulders, and a cozy funnel neck. Your instructor can also show you how to adjust the sleeve length. Available in sizes 0–20 and 14–30.
Finlayson Pattern by Thread Theory: A relaxed, menswear-inspired option. We’ll make Variation A, featuring a stylish shawl collar. Sizes XS–XXL.
