Sewing 301: Button Ups // 5 Weeks // Starts Sept 8
Hey super stitchers, get ready for an action-packed sewing jamboree! This is our Intermediate/Advanced Projects class focusing on button up shirts. Who doesn't love a good button-up? Sew one up in classic, crisp white, think flannel for fall, or hold on to summer with a breezy gauze. You'll choose from an array of patterns and complete an impressive and functional piece.
Pattern Options (you are also welcome to run a pattern of your choice by us):
Skills learned vary by pattern but may include:
- Buttonholes & plackets
- Patch and flap pockets
- Setting in two-piece sleeves
- Collars & cuffs
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced. Students must have taken Sewing 201 or have similar experience (made at least one garment and feel comfortable cutting fabric on their own).
5 Weeks; 15 total course hours
Section 1: 5 Sundays 5-8pm on Sept 8, 15, 22, 29, & Oct 6
