Students will use the Cielo Top or Dress by Closet Case Patterns as the foundational pattern for this class. Sizes 0-30 with multiple cup sizes. This is a beginner friendly pullover top or dress. We will be completing the short sleeve version, but you will learn the skills necessary to make the gathered long sleeve at home. This is a pattern that can grow with you as it has multiple variations as you increase your skill set. An additional pattern option for this class is a unisex or men's scrub top.
Skill Level: Beginner. You should feel comfortable threading a sewing machine and sewing straight seams, but may be new to using patterns or making clothing. You have taken our Sewing 101 class or have equivalent experience.
You may take this class even if you have taken Sewing 201: Pants.
Pattern & materials not included. You will be purchasing a digital copy of the pattern as well as your fabric & thread. You do not need to bring any materials to the first class. The instructor will go over everything you need for the second session.
