Sewing 301: Winter Outerwear // 5 Weeks // Starts Jan 7
Hey super stitchers, get ready for an action-packed sewing jamboree! This is our Advanced Projects class focusing on outerwear where you'll choose from an array of patterns and complete an impressive, functional, and warm jacket. Keep it classic with a solid wool, or make a statement with a funky print. Add some snazzy hardware to really wow everyone when they learn it's handmade.
Pattern Options (you are also welcome to run a pattern of your choice by us):
-Darcy Coat by The Modern Sewing Company (women's sizes 4-28) - an elegant, oversized coat designed to throw over any outfit. Comes with many options, including lined or unlined, welt or patch pockets, and suits a variety of fabrics.
-The Sanda Coat by Merchant & Mills (Women's sizes 6-28) - a minimalist coat with a rolled collar and turn back cuffs. Can be made lined or unlined.
-Poppy Coat by the Fabric Store (Women's sizes 4-32) - a modern, oversized coat with a playful curved collar and notch lapel. Choose from two different lengths. Fully lined.
